Klatchnic TF Concept Art

lol. I spelled "Klatchnic" wrong, like, three times now. :'D I fail. Notice that I even did so on here. XD

Klatchnic is a Klatsiffian, an alien species of lizard. These guys are born wearing "helmets" and they're hard to remove from a Klatsiffian's skull--and if removed, they slowly grow back. That tail-bone is also natural--these guys are burrowers, although they thrive above ground, normally at night.

I drew him without any spikes or spines on his body for now. . . because I have to design the rest of his body to compare with his head. A Klatsiffian's helm and horns are their finger prints--no other Klatsiffian will have an EXACT spike pattern or helm as another. And lots of Klatsiffians have odd bone colors. Klatchnic's bone color is blue--so, yes, his teeth are blue, too.

It's obvious I was testing out helm designs and bone-designs. A very old character, although for years he was only an IMPLIED character in the Tubico Series.

I'm going through a rough "bore-block" right now. . . where almost everything I draw is boring to me so I stop working on it. I received advice from Avyris ( [link] ) that I should try drawing something different. I don't normally draw any of my aliens, so I decided to draw one. . . I've been drawing too many people, dragons, and canines. . . so why not?
