Jordin's a Monster by PrincessDindella Jordin's a Monster by PrincessDindella
Look at this SOB!! Oh my God!!! I've NEVER done this sort of thing before!

So, all you who have been waiting on some of of request or commission from me. . . when I finally get to them. . . this is what they'll look like.

I used my own base, since she was suppose to be Jordin anyways (no contestants, don't color Jordin in as your entry e-e).

Look at those big bulging muscles, the fur detail. . . I use to not do this sort of shading because I didn't know HOW. In fact, I never learned how to Shade until I met Shade and watched her speed paints. .. . o-O along with Trinity's. Does that prove that I'm retarded?

This is Avyris: [link]

See how amazing her shading is? I'm no profess', so my technique to achieve this sort of shading is different. But I'll say that although this is boring the hell out of me, I think it's worth it. And, YES, I'm outta school today. . . we got extremely bad ice last night. o-o'

I've been working on the shading since I finished the coloring an hour and a half after I got outta bed, and I got up at 6.

I give all credit to my ability to draw this well to:

I hope I didn't forget anyone. . .

Oh, and before anyone asks. . . THIS IS MY WEREWOLF PERSONA. x'3

The concept is really nice, but if I might make a suggestion, try varying your line widths. Heavier lines denote stronger and more defined muscle, thinner lines for hair, some edges and crest of curves. Takes a while to get the feel of it, but you'll find that your art gets much more depth and definition, and that with line variation, those muscles will actually look stronger and more solid. Take some time to find a few videos on youtube that show tutorials on drawing, take some time to observe animal anatomy too (there are a few online sources, and books at your library or bookstore). You've got lots of potential, just needs more refinement and practice.
